This Privacy Policy explains how the StopTap mobile application ("StopTap", "we", "us") handles information. StopTap is an independent helper app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NPCI.

No account required

StopTap does not require you to register or log in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or banking credentials, and we do not store such personal information on our servers.

UPI services

StopTap displays NPCI's official UPI Help portal within the app so you can raise complaints, check transaction status, and resolve payment issues. Any information you submit there is handled by NPCI under its own policies. Please review NPCI's privacy practices for those services.

Analytics and advertising (Facebook SDK)

StopTap includes the Facebook (Meta) SDK to measure app installs and understand how the app is used. Through this SDK, the following may be collected and shared with Meta:

On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any advertising identifier is used for attribution. You can decline, and you can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings at any time.

Analytics and attribution data described above is shared with Meta. We do not sell your personal information.

Children

StopTap is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings, and on iOS by declining the tracking prompt. You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection by the app.
